# Exhibit Consulting Deck

## Overview
The generalized craft of evidence-first strategy-consulting decks, stripped of any firm's identity. A pure-white 16:9 canvas where every content slide is a numbered **Exhibit**: a monospace `Exhibit N.N` label sits top-left, an **answer-first header** — a complete declarative sentence stating the slide's single conclusion — sits below it, and a mandatory `Source:` footnote closes the bottom over a 1px hairline rule. The chart or table *is* the exhibit. Emphasis is never a broad color choice: it is a single green — one series, one bar, one left bar — over an otherwise monochrome slate ramp. Density is part of the identity: real exhibits are packed, so the body zone carries three or more coordinated modules, not one lonely chart. "The slide is a numbered, sourced exhibit that states its own conclusion" is the whole identity.

## Colors & Roles
Canonical mode is **light**: `background` is pure white (#FFFFFF) on every slide. Data and text live on a neutral ramp traced from the source pack — ink (`foreground`, #1A1A1A) for headers, slate (#5B636E) for body and de-emphasized data, light gray (`border`, #D6DAD8) for hairlines, and a faint green-gray panel (#F2F4F3) for `secondary`/`muted` fills and callout boxes. The single chromatic voice is green (`primary`/`accent`, #177B57 → oklch 0.519 0.105 163.1): one emphasis series, one bar, one 0.1in left bar, the exhibit label — never a surface fill, never more than one accent per chart. `chart-1..5` form a disciplined ramp with green only at `chart-1`; the other four are slate → light-gray → ink lightness steps, so series separation is value and the emphasized series is the only chromatic one. `destructive` also maps to green — the palette is chromatically closed, with no red. The dark map is an authored "boardroom dark" adaptation (deep slate surfaces, green lifted for contrast) and is not part of the original spec.

## Typography Rules
Two families: IBM Plex Sans for prose/data (Pretendard/Noto Sans KR for Korean) and IBM Plex Mono for the exhibit label and source footnote — the monospace regimentation of number label and source line is a signature. Deck type steps, in pt on a 13.33in × 7.5in canvas: exhibit label 11pt / mono / medium / +0.06em / uppercase / green; answer header 28pt / bold / 1.25 / max 2 lines, always a complete declarative sentence on a fixed deck-wide baseline; subhead 16pt / semibold / slate; body 18pt / regular / 1.4, at most 6 lines per slide; value labels and KPI labels 14pt semibold with tabular figures; KPI hero numbers 40pt bold ink; source footnote 9pt / mono / slate. Text emphasis is green or bold weight — never a mid-sentence oversized word, never a second accent.

## Layout Principles
16:9 canvas, strict 12-column modular grid, outer margins fixed at 64px left/right/top and a 64px footer baseline — identical on every slide, no drift. The label + answer-header band anchors the top on a fixed baseline; the body zone snaps chart, table, and diagram modules to the 12 columns in 7:5, 4:4:4, or full-width-table-plus-KPI-strip splits, 0.2in gutters. Composition is dense in the consulting manner: fill 88%+ of the body zone with meaningful modules, never letting dead white pool in a corner, yet keep exactly one takeaway per slide. Footer: full-width 1px hairline rule, then `Source:` bottom-left / `Note:` right in 9pt mono, page number bottom-right — mandatory wherever data appears.

## Depth & Elevation
Completely flat. No shadows, gradients, glass, noise, or blur — ever. Division and containment are done with 0.75–1pt light-gray hairlines and faint green-gray panels; prominence is done with the single green fill/text or bold weight.

## Shapes
Zero border-radius everywhere — rectangles, table cells, chart bars, diagram nodes. Arrows are 1.5pt thin connectors with 6px/30° heads. Step numbers sit in 0.32in green *outline* circles (not filled). Emphasis bars are 0.1in green solids on the left edge of a cell.

## Component Stylings
- **Exhibit label**: `Exhibit N.N` in 11pt IBM Plex Mono medium, green, +0.06em, aligned to the 64px left margin — mandatory on every body/chart/diagram slide.
- **Answer header**: 28pt bold complete-sentence conclusion below the label, max 2 lines, fixed deck-wide baseline; emphasis by green/weight, not by enlarging a mid-sentence word.
- **Charts**: data-ink minimalism, rendered precisely (SVG in HTML decks — no sloppy div-block bars) — no legend, no gridlines, no chart border, no y-axis; only a 0.75pt x baseline; baseline always 0. One green emphasis bar/segment, the rest neutral lightness. Direct 14pt semibold tabular value labels on bar ends. Marimekko: variable-width 100% stacked, one green segment, 1px white segment borders. Waterfall: slate start/end bars, green increases, outlined decreases, dotted connectors, delta labels on bars.
- **Callout box**: green-gray #F2F4F3 fill + 0.1in green solid left bar + 14pt semibold insight (1–2 lines), consistent 0.16in padding, placed beside a chart/table to say "so what."
- **Data table**: hairline grid; header row green-gray fill + semibold; winning column green text + green left bar; numeric cells right-aligned tabular, consistent decimals; bold totals; at most one emphasized cell/row.
- **KPI cards**: white cell + 1px hairline, 11pt slate label, 40pt bold tabular figure, 14pt delta (▲ up green / ▼ down slate); 3–4 across a row.
- **Footer / pagination**: full-width 1px rule + 9pt mono `Source:` bottom-left, `Note:` right, page number bottom-right — mandatory on data slides.

## Motion
Subtle to the point of near-absence: the exhibit label and hairline rule fade in over 200ms ease-out; slide bodies hard-cut. No slide, bounce, or glow. The static authority of a numbered, sourced exhibit is the point.

## Do's and Don'ts
**Do:** put an `Exhibit N.N` label top-left of every content slide; write the header as a complete declarative conclusion; emphasize with green text/weight or one green left bar per module; keep the marimekko/waterfall/impact-bridge/2x2 vocabulary; fill the body with 3+ coordinated modules; always add the `Source:` footnote and page number.
**Don't:** use noun-phrase titles; fill surfaces with green; drop the exhibit label or source line; use rainbow palettes, legend boxes, excess gridlines, 3D, or truncated y-axes; round corners, add shadows or gradients; leave a slide with one lonely element; reproduce real firm names, logos, or actual slides.

## Slide Anatomy
- **Title / cover slide**: white canvas, top-left monospace green kicker (`STRATEGY EXHIBIT DECK`), large left-aligned bold title (max 2 lines) at ~42% height, slate subtitle, a right-column mono meta strip (`PREPARED FOR` / `ENGAGEMENT CODE` / `DATE`) filling the right void, footer meta row with confidentiality note. Restrained but no dead space.
- **Exhibit content slide (answer-first)**: the workhorse — `Exhibit 1.1` label + 28pt answer header + slate lead line; body opens with a 4:4:4 three-column breakdown, then a lower 7:5 split of a supporting bar chart/table (left) and a green-gray callout (right); source/note footnote. Four+ modules.
- **Chart/exhibit slide with source line**: `Exhibit 2.1` label + conclusion header; left 7 columns hold the main marimekko (one green segment, direct value labels), right 5 columns stack a waterfall and a supporting data table, plus a KPI strip under the header; mandatory `Source:`/`Note:` footnote and units.
- **Divider slide**: white background, giant 100pt green *outline* section number on the left, 28pt section name on the right; otherwise empty.
- **Closing slide**: `Exhibit 5.1` label + action header ("The next 90 days execute three moves") + a 3-step impact-bridge/chevron flow over a phase band, then a 7:5 split of an execution table (action · owner · date · metric) and a green-gray "Expected impact" callout; contact meta footer.

## Agent Prompt Guide
> Build this presentation in the 'Exhibit Consulting Deck' style: pure-white 16:9 slides where every content slide is a numbered exhibit — a monospace green `Exhibit N.N` label top-left, an answer-first header (a complete declarative sentence stating the single conclusion, 28pt bold, max 2 lines) below it, and a mandatory 9pt mono `Source:` footnote over a 1px hairline rule at the bottom. Monochrome slate data ramp; the only emphasis color is green, used as text/weight, one chart series/bar, or a 0.1in green left bar — never a surface fill. Charts render in SVG with no legends, gridlines, or y-axis — direct tabular value labels, baseline at 0; the vocabulary is marimekko, waterfall, impact-bridge process flow, 2x2 matrix, KPI cards. Dense modular composition: 3+ coordinated modules snapped to a strict 12-column grid, no dead white corners, one takeaway per slide. Zero radius, zero shadows, 200ms label fade only, mandatory source footnotes and page numbers. Fonts: IBM Plex Sans + IBM Plex Mono, Pretendard/Noto Sans KR for Korean.

## Known Gaps / Confidence
Adapted from the MIT-licensed design-diversity pack `ppt-bcg-exhibit-deck` — an authored spec, not an extraction from a live deck, so all confidence fields are `manual`. This is a ppt-track entry: the shadcn token mapping is a web-rendering convenience (pt-based type steps, 16:9 frames), and the dark color map is an authored boardroom-dark adaptation absent from the source pack. No real-firm assets are used; the style generalizes exhibit-deck conventions and must not reproduce any real firm's name, logo, or actual slides.
